LAPD 2015 will take place at Gateaux Kingdom SAPPORO Hotel & Spa Resort in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It is located in the suburbs of Sapporo but well-connected to the city centre which is 45 minutes away by hotel’s courtesy bus service. Large and small conference halls, leisure swimming pool and spa, fitness club, stone sauna, various restaurants and sky lounge are all under one roof. There are also numerous hotels in the city centre to accommodate increasing number of incoming tourists. Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan has been popular to visit for the Japanese for decades, but it has also gained a status as one of the favourite tourist destinations not only for foreign repeaters but also the first-time visitors from overseas. Recent years in winter we have received an influx of visitors from Asian countries who want to enjoy skiing and Sapporo Snow Festival in February.
